Valley of Kaque Marka

In the city of El Alto is the Eco-tourist Valley of Kaque Marka, exactly in District 10;  among its most important attractions are the funerary towers called chullpares that date back to 1200 AD.  Currently there are only three well-preserved structures.  According to studies, these are constructed with clay, penca and cica;  where Aymara priests and warriors were buried.

HOW TO GET

 It is an hour's drive from the eyebrow (city center), El Alto, to get to the site must first be transported in a vehicle and then on foot, the visitor must take public transport to the so-called "Ventilla crossing"  ", The approximate cost is five bolivianos in trufi, this will take you to the town of Amachuma, from that place you must access on foot by a path of difficult passability for being a clay road for about an hour.  It is recommended to visit the place in a group and with the appropriate clothing.
